Just when the clock stuck four on the evening of Friday the 20th Feb. 2009 I realized that it was time for me to pour down all my sorrows and forget all the miseries of my life that has been bestowed on my poor weak shoulders. The party attended by 14 girls was totally amazing; we had a short but fun filled time with the atmosphere loaded with gossips, giggles, screams and witty looks.
“I was about half in love with her by the time we sat down. That’s the thing about girls. Every time they do something pretty… you fall half in love with them, and then you never know where the hell you are.” – J. D. Salinger
Every girl tries to find a comfort zone in another girl to let out how she feels about the most horrible and the most astonishing parts of her life.
We started off by relaxing down in the display area above the cafeteria and soon the movie “27 dresses” started off, about the movie. Well, it was cute but stupid in a way too. But we couldn’t get to finish the movie because we all got something better to do and that was….. (yeah go ahead make your guess) ! We talked and talked about all our cutest and appalling experiences that have made us all really proud of being ourselves no matter how much we think we have suffered and lost, yet we feel that we are better than thousands and are capable of making a difference.
By this time the place was surely surrounded by sounds of hearty laughs, with tears of joy in our eyes and we all were rolling with glee and mirth.
Just when it was getting warmer and more entertaining, it was time to get up for the dinner, but it was for the better of us since we were all getting pretty exhausted by just chuckling. Anyways, the Chinese aroma tickled our noses and we rushed downstairs to grab our trays of Chinese rice and chicken Shashlik…hmm yummy!!!
We ate, talked and took pictures and soon headed for the point at around 8 pm. To our great delight, the comfortable Clifton point awaited us or was it Defence. I don’t remember well it was cozy and comfy and that’s what mattered.
Through the journey we listened songs and had ice cream, well not any scrumptious one but at least we got to eat something sweet to satisfy our taste buds and we were happy about it.
To simply put it in words, the party was a time of complete craziness and wildness, but some narrow minded people think that becoming wild is to cross all limits and forget who you are and lose everything you have, well that’s not with us girls, we have our own way of having fun and making few hours very special and memorable ones.
I would really like to acknowledge the effort put in by TDT2 for arranging this event especially our sweet friend Komal Iqbal.
I would like to urge those who didn’t attend it to please be a part of things like this in the future, because life is short, so try to make the best of your time and have all the ecstasy that you ever wanted. We all will cherish these memories forever.
Cheers to all my gurls!!!
