For those of you who have graduated recently here’s some more salt to your wounds…

Effective 10th November Comments and Cartoons of the Graduating Class 2007 will not be entertained.

Shocked? Don’t be, you didn’t submit anything to the magazine so i really won’t bother going into the specifics! Now nobody will know that you graduated this year except your Mom and Dad and maybe a brother or sister if you’re close to them….

The following Graduated Classes have NOT sent me their Comments and Cartoons, so no dice for you…

- Apparel Marketing and Manufacturing (AMM)
- Textile Marketing and Management (TMM)

So Last Call to Board the Train or Be Left Behind, No Second Call for Losers; Have too many Passengers on the Train anyhow!

Poll: My first week at TIP…

The freshmen have spoken. And they’re loving TIP! 50% of their population finds the campus so pretty, they’re going crazy telling people about it. 33% still haven’t been able to get over the shock of ending up here. They’ve been talking balderdash in reply to every question they’re asked. 17% are screaming their lungs out to be rescued.

May God help them. All of them.

My first week at TIP, and I can’t help not think:

  • 50% Gosh, the campus is so nice. I’m going to have the time-of-my-life here. (9 votes)
  • 17% Aarrrrh! What is this hellhole?! Get me out of here. (3 votes)
  • 33% Hum de hum. Hum. Hum de da. (6 votes)

This poll ran from August 29, 2007 to September 16, 2007.

Poll: I wet my pants

The results are in! The scariest thing about TIP is the hostel! 58% of TIP students wet their pants when think about staying in the hostel! 24% are terrified by the bus ride, though more of these (54%) dread going to TIP than coming back home (46%). We feel that the 13% who dread the morning bus ride actually fear that the tower or the “TIP windmill” will fall on their heads.

But, let these results not scare you from TIP! It’s not as bad as it often sounds, it just happens that little positive gets reported.

Chances are, the 18% of students who wet their pants in excitement about being a part of TIP will do something about this. But don’t bet on it, as none of them noticed the spelling of “excitment” used in the poll! Read the rest of this entry »

Poll: Does Quack! really suck?

We’ve polled this one countless times, mostly informally, and the answer is always the same, “could be better.”

This time, 53% of the respondents thought that Quack could be better, 23% think it is the “Best. Thing. Ever” (don’t know what they’re smoking), and 23% saw a butterfly (definitely don’t know what they’re smoking).

From which we can reasonably conclude that 46% of those polled are smoking some strong stuff.

Does Quack! really suck?

Best. Thing. Ever. 23% of all votes
Could be better… 53% of all votes
Ooh look! A butterfly! 23% of all votes

Total Votes: 43 Started: February 1, 2007

Nevertheless, the majority (23 of 43 respondents) thinks that Quack! could be better, and we must respect the majority’s opinion. Which leads us to, just what is their opinion? Please leave your thoughts on just how Quack! could be better (and what you will do to make it better) in the comments below.
