Sometimes I wish

No one around is happy with his or her life; everyone is on the verge to acquire more and more in life. Why can’t man be satisfied with whatsoever he or she has? This question triggers me every now and then. Why is that mankind is so much obsessed with himself that he doesn’t give a second thought to the relationships he is ruining every moment? We are egocentric, demented, and manic creatures on this world. Is this statement true? Or are we just being human, plain simple human beings?

Man dream and desire for billions of wild stuff and do freaking things in order to get them. We want to be content and for that we try to get all the luxuries in life, but we don’t realize how much others are actually suffering in pain and agony from our actions.

Our lives lack balance and we as individuals lack sense of responsibility. If we realize that we are here to love each other and to share our bounties among ourselves then we could hope for a better living.
I see bloodshed, terror, violence, revulsion, and covetousness everywhere around me but I don’t see love, care, concern, compassion or even hope for finding light in the darkness we are living in. This is the truth and we can’t deny it, we can’t protest for it, we are and have to live with this? But do we really have to live with this; I mean can’t we do anything about it? Ask yourself, are you a weak member of a weak society? Or do you think you have the potential and the fervor to make this society stronger?

Well, I am actually drifting away from my focus point. The point is why are we at a discomfort although if we look around we have more than enough but still why is there a continuous thirst for mere money and power?

Our desires are unlimited they don’t have any sort of boundaries. This is perfectly normal because that’s human nature. If you ask me, I would say right now my dream is to fly to Rome and build myself a palace with a monument of chocolate, its crazy, but I can’t help it and can’t stop myself from dreaming about it.

The thing is dream on, let your imaginations go beyond, but don’t ruin your life and the lives of others for a thing that is of only your concern.

Today, I can only spread this word; I hope tomorrow I am capable enough to bring about a change in my society for the welfare of mankind.

ME: if this was your point…..you answered your own question!! no point in asking right??

Lastly, whoever gets offended by this thread including the author they can keep their opinions about me to themselves, this
thread was just a senseless act of desperation and a consequence of severe pain of ASS – the “Attention Seeking Syndrome”

  2. And abt my dream to fly to Rome, i guess u shud grow up……. dreams dont have a limitation, if my 5 year old niece can dream abt walking to the moon, dn y nt da other way round.

  5. aap jis rung ka chashma pehnaingaey usi rung ke duniya nazar ai ge ….. just think profoundly and try to change ur perspective ….. apnay greban mein jhankain jo ghalat salat cheezain nazar ain un ko sahe kernay ke koshiss kerian society khud he sahee hojai ge …….

  6. Hey you people! What the hell are you doing here? What was the theme of the topic and where you have drifted it to? Can’t you just comment on what the author is trying to tell?

The way you are ruining the author’s use of the word ‘relationship’ is very bad. As far as flying to Rome is concerned, there is nothing bad in it. One can desire these kind of things at any age. There is no point of ‘growing up’ at this issue.

  7. what do we have here a new insolent guy in town first hira, then some one else and now mr fareed the dreamless person, i wonder how does he know the meaning of dream if he yet hasn’t experience 1.

anyways i have got one interesting story for you dude,

There was a man he made a beautiful painting and his dream was that this painting becomes so successful that every buddy would want to hang it in their houses. so to know the opinion of the people about the painting he hanged it on some pole of some of street of and left a note and a red marker beneath it. the note was a request for the people passing by , to see the painting throughly and mark the areas of improvement. after 2 days when he came back to see the painting and he observed that the whole painting was ruin becuz of crosses and circles portending his areas of improvement on the whole painting. therefore, he took the painting with him and rub the red marks on it and then after bringing the painting back to its original condition he hang it back again on the same pole of the same street and this time he left a note mark the mistakes and correct it. he waited for another 2 days. after 2 days when he came back he found no marks on the paint every thing was same then he decided to organize his art gallery and there his painting was widely appreciated by the great painters and thats how he became successful.

the moral of the story is when it comes to do something on your own u refuse but when some other person wants to do same thing no matter they are doing it right u have to interfere and prove that u could do better however, u aren’t willing do it in fact u havnt even tried to do it isn’t it MR FAREED.

SO IF YOU THING U CAN WRITE BETTER THAN THIS THEN SHOW US YOUR TALENT RATHER THAN TRYING TO SHOW US YOUR WEAKNESS BY SPOILING OTHERS PASSION OF DOING SOMETHING.

i must admit its a very thoughtful article and there is no particular age to dream no matter whatever the level of dream is because u never know when your dream will come true since, god is up there listening us all and for him to make someones dream real is a piece cake. on the other hand, i don’t suppose an undergraduate student is not allowed to dream. for your kind of information if you are aware of david copperfield well this guy he dream to fly when he was undergraduate student and after his graduation he made that dream come true in his own show right in front of billions of people.

so dude what ever u said back in your comment my suggestion to yu is to review it throughly and think for a moment with a calm mind that what have you done back there u merely spoil someone article and her dreams.

THINK ABOUT IT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE AND IF YOU ARE A GOOD GENTALMEN WHICH I THINK YOU ARE THEN YOU WOULD AT LEAST APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.

  8. ooo…i think things r getting alittle hot here.
i jus spread my words n da way i feel…..every1 has da freedom to express watever dey feel.
n i jus keep my fingers crossed dat one day i do get to c da sunrise in Rome.

(no one): “and now mr fareed the dreamless person, i wonder how does he know the meaning of dream if he yet hasn’t experience 1.”

ME: My dream is to be a famous critique. You have a problem? Live with it!!

(no one): “The story and its moral.”

ME: Come up with a better story. If you see this one practically, you’ll know that people only tell you about your mistakes once, not more than that, and they never correct your mistakes, they only point them out. You obviously dont have a clue, yes, ignorance is bliss.

(no one): “SO IF YOU THING U CAN WRITE BETTER THAN THIS THEN SHOW US YOUR TALENT RATHER THAN TRYING TO SHOW US YOUR WEAKNESS BY SPOILING OTHERS PASSION OF DOING SOMETHING.”

ME: I know I can write better, and I dont think there is any point in showing it to you, because….you know why! Weakness? I think I came out pretty strong thats why some of the other readers backed me up (thanks nida, mako), unlike you, who doesn’t have a clue!

(no one): “i must admit its a very thoughtful article.”

ME: You admit it? Good for you, because I am not willing to second that. Again, live with it!!

(no one): “i don’t suppose an undergraduate student is not allowed to dream.”

ME: Yes they are allowed to dream, but, rationally, if they want to survive in this world.

(no one): “david copperfield’s flying SHOW.”

ME: You know what he did? It’s called “people believe what they see”. You obviously don’t have any idea how the media criticized it. Gather your facts then point something out. Again, ignorance is bliss.

(no one): “so dude what ever u said back in your comment my suggestion to yu is to review it throughly and think for a moment with a calm mind that what have you done back there u merely spoil someone article and her dreams.”

ME: A CRITIQUE is supposed to point out the positive and the negative aspects. I didn’t see a positive one except that she made an effort to write.

(no one): “….AND IF YOU ARE A GOOD GENTALMEN WHICH I THINK YOU ARE THEN YOU WOULD AT LEAST APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.”

ME: I least care about what you think! who are you? you couldn’t even put up your name “MR REBUTTAL”. what….you shy? awww….too bad. And….apologize?? for being right?? or for being so bluntly honest.

*Cracker* i still dont get the point of you getting so hyped up. You obviously seem to have a major problem, live with it, yet again.
Oh! did i just step on your poor witty ego??

  10. Ever thought of shutting up your career dreams, giving up ambitions and spending a day off, flying pigeons or (kites) !!!!

  11. Mr. Rasto, not everyone is excited by pigeons! However, put me together with a 40 sq. ft. kite and a wake board, and I’ll give up everything!

  12. I do that once in a while, spend a day with the pigeons or flying kites, or at least try to. But there’s this constant feeling that keeps pestering me asking me what I should be doing instead. Somehow I always… always have something to do.

    What to do?
