TIP, why the long face?

Second set of hourlies are around the corner and TIPians still wait for something exciting to happen in TIP. Some Texperts might find it hard to believe, but there is still no TISF therefore still no student representatives to be held accountable as we sit and see November pass by the way we saw the previous two months.

The early morning breeze gives signs of the weather changing so its only a matter of time till the few sports activities that take place right now to cease as well. And please, its NOT because people have become serious about studies. That change is not at all imminent.

Its simply the attitude of students. No one is willing to step forth and take up responsibility. I’m sure these lines might spark revolt in some readers who’re currently at TIP but rather than turning over a new leaf and standing up, they would simply vow to not take part in any activities that might take place in the near future thinking, “iski ye kehnay ki himmat kaisay hui. ab koi event ho kar to dikhai TIP mein!”… *sigh*

Please people, please do something for your university. Ok fine, if you hate this university because some previous senior told you to hate it don’t do it for the university rather, do it for yourself. Playing cards and ludo is a good past time but university life is supposed to a lot more creative, entertaining and a means to make students mature. Or else, my concept of university life is flawed.

sir mohsin ko bolo asad woh krwa dain ga :p… we are the end product of TIP, we can market tip when we graduate and it can only happen when we have good experience in TIP, if every texpert suggests 1 student every year kbhi crowd km na ho TIP ka but nobody does this. once they pass out even nobody looks back because of bad experience. our mgmt is not intrested in student activities.no add and no other college students are gonna market tip,but i dnt know y managment is not getting this point .TIP is spending money on them y dont they spend money on the sports society, music society and many other socities…. “girti howi dewar ko 1 dhakka or do” TISF b khtm… :D

Honestly speaking, I really don’t think elections is the right way for everyone to work together. Form societies, give a lot of people different authorities so that they can be held accountable for anything bad that happens in that societies. Revive TIMES, the management society. And elect at most ONE president of the student body who looks over all societies and is accountable to the president of TIP. More people participating, everybody enjoying
