The TISF caught everyone by surprise this time. According to most people, they put together a show that not only exceeded the majority’s expectations in terms of technical perfection and good time management, but also by setting the bar higher this year in terms of the show’s overall quality. Well done!
The performances were very entertaining, and the audience was as usual responsive, but this time, in an unexpectedly positive manner, if you know what I mean, and it deserves appreciation. Keeping it short, this review cannot be complete without the mention of two brilliant, show stealing performances. First being a play called ‘Peela Pardah‘ by Waqas Saleem, Osama, Ali, Noman and Danial. The fact that the entire show was created by a handful of talented individuals out of less than limited resources and demotivating hurdles make it even better. Great job, you made every one proud!
The second performance worth special mention was by Talha, a freshman from TDT, whose fluid movements and dancing talent is sure to put Madhuri’s dwindling career in a bigger threat. It takes big guts to do what he did. Keep it up!
TISF, be prepared – all the eyes and expectations are on you now, for the carnival is near and expectations are high.
For those who missed out on today’s performances, do not despair, for this efficient newspaper of yours has made sure you get a second chance. Enjoy! Talented Talha at it!
