Tipians to attend HEIMTEX 2004, Biggest Textile Show in the World

Heimtextil is the international trade fair for home textiles and commercially used textiles. It is held every year in Frankfurt at Main, Germany.

Umair Ahmed (Class of 2003) and Amir Pingal (Class of 2000), along with other Texperts, will be part of their respective companies delegations to the exhibition.

Heimtextil – the world’s biggest trade fair for home and commercially used textiles – provides the main orientation point world-wide for home textiles and fashions. For 33 years this trade fair has been an optimum forum for contacts and innovations, reflecting current lifestyles in its halls and setting the trends for trade, industry and handicrafts.

  1. I am surprised there isnt even a single comment regarding this info from abid omar. Hemtextile ..as told by abid is actually and exhibition where manufacturers from aorund the world come and show what they are capable of making yr home look more gud (that means heimtextil is related to home textile items like table covers, duvet covers, pillowcases, quiltcovers etc) . the companies are represented at heimtextil by really hard working employees and who ever gets a chance of representing thier firm is SOMETHING in his own capacity.

Its a matter of honor that TIPians are representing their firms in international fairs and much more imressive is the fact that the students from the batch of 2003 who graduated last yr performed within 6 months in such a way that their seths or owners wateva thought of exposing them and polishing them at the international ecene. This is a major voctory for all those who are working hard in churning out quality material for the Textile world with TIP.

Now apart from Umair, there was another desigher from 2003 batch named PRINCE FAISAL NIZAMI..who was there…then from 2002 there was HASAN ALI BAIG who was the ex TISF president..AMIR PINGAL’s name was mentioned, there was FAISAL KHAN from batch of 1999 and many more, the names of whom i dont remeber

Home textiles is so much important in our textiles that we export almost 56000 tons of textile material to europe. and these days we are quiet worried abt the anti dumping duty which european union is imposing upon pakistani bedlinen items. The duty is just 14% for only say..9 months but still poeple are so much worried that they want it to be sorted out..

all the tipians..my comment is no more a comment i guess..its becoming a time wasting article,,but

TRY TO GET INVOLOVED IN SUCH AFFAIRS AND NEWS WHICH ABID GIVES TO YOU.. IT REALLY HELPS..I NEVER PAYED ANY HEED TO SUCH STUFF..AND I CAN UNDERSTAND NOW WHY YOU ALSO DIDNT PAY ATTENTION..BUT IF YOU KNOW SOME STUFF REGARDING SUCH INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS..IT COUNTS ALOT!!!

    i hope you understand
